Damn it people.....when will you learn? Sorry Paid-off-ref but you are just not right..... Put Quag in Madrid's team or put Matri in Madrid's team and you will see who is mediocare and who is not.... Shit, Matri would be scoring 25+ goals in Madrid with his eyes closed......Even i would fucking score if i had Ronaldo, Ozil, Xabi Alonso, Di Maria all working for me.....We need wingers!! Creative ones. Vucinic is good, but we have a problem on the right side. I really, really hope that Elia will become that creative winger for us....and then you'll see.... If it was Ozil, Di Maria or Elia on the right today, i swear to you that Matri would have scored at least two goals.....
You make an interesting point. Our strikers would definitely score more goals with those players around them. But I still think that the strikers I mentioned can have moments where they can win games without proper service. I don't see our current strikers being able to do that. When I see for example Matri on the counter with tons of space with only a defender to beat I don't expect him to score because he never does. This goes for our forward line, I don't remember how many times tonight we had three vs three and we messed up every single time. Moggi has talked about too, we need a defender and I forward that can win games by himself to be scudetto worthy.

You are definetly right about this part. I agree 100% with you on this one. But, if we use the situations from tonight and draw a final conclusion, i think that Matri had nothing to do with our counter-attacks, its the other players who failed to beat their man or make that final killer pass for Matri to put it in the goal, especially Pepe......you remember the two times where he could have passed the ball to Matri for Matri to be one-on-one with the keeper, dont you?

Yeah, I remember. He was truly isolated out there tonight. But I think Matri and Quag in general lack the individual skill that makes them win games by themselves when everyone else is having a bad game.

Well this only proves that you cant poot any blame to the both of them when the whole team behind them sucks.......You should only blame them when the team is creating chances for them and they screw them up.

I think he deserves a fair run of games and minutes to be himself again. conte needs to give him a few 90 mins games, so he can keep pace for full games coz that'll not only mean more opportunities it'll also mean more goals. He's got the technique and the class. All he needs is a bit of confidence shown to him. Just start him against Novara and everyone else we play before the winter break. At least it'll give you a fair estimate if he has been given a run in games. It is extremely unfair to judge someone for 20 minute appearances that total out to 169 minutes of which 69 were not even part of a Serie A game. Lets be fair here because even in the little time he has been given he's had some nice touches, interplay and movement. The only thing he hasnt got is a goal. Which I'm willing to fore give, since 169 minutes like Alen correctly said is not even two full matches. Anyone remember Gigi when he returned from injury? He made some basic errors, looked unsettled and wasn't confident. It was not because he was finished. It was only because he didn't have match conditioning which only comes with continuity. Quag only needs that. All good players do to regain confidence. Let's not lose perspective here people.
