Ok, we should spend 30 M on Rossi who is not a big improvement over Quag??

Oh my.
He is a huge improvement on Quag

He is more skilled than Quag and is harder to mark due to being a lefty - plus, since when did Quag score 32 goals a season? If you're going to tell me about lack of defence in Spain just remember the best Italian teams get beaten comfortably in Europe these days, so Italian defence is no where near what it use to be.

Quag's goal per match ratio of last season is very similar to Rossi, since you're bringing out the 32 goals argument.

Rossi is better than Quag but not by a lot, and we should definitely not spend 30 M on him for that reason.

We should spend 30 M on a real difference maker but we won't do that this mercato, hopefully next summer if we make the CL.

Always the argument - we'll spend big when we make the CL - the problem is which came first, the egg or the chicken? The reality is you need to spend big to give yourself a good crack at making the CL - otherwise you're going around in circles

The signings of Vargas(if we do sign him), Vucinic and Lugano should, in theory, be enough to finish 3rd.

“For me every game is a step forward in terms of my physical condition and it helps me to forget about my injury,” he stated.

The former Sampdoria, Udinese and Napoli player damaged knee ligaments on January 6 just minutes into the League game against Parma.

After months of rehabilitation, he’s now back in training and full action for La Vecchia Signora.

I did actually pick up a blow to the knee against Chivas at the exact point where I injured myself,” he added. “I lost 10 years of my life in two seconds…

“However, it probably did me some good. To play and pick up knocks is the best way to get rid of your fears.”
