Juventus and Chelsea are discussing numerous players together. Sarri wants Jorginho but Pjanic doesn't want to move to Chelsea and there's a difference in Juve's valuation of him. The teams are also discussing Emerson, De Sciglio, Bernardeschi and Pedro. [CdS]

Tici treating mercatos like swap meets now

Anytime your transfer strategy is to trade your garbage for another club's garbage that is a flawed plan

they're just doing their best to offload two juve players you despise. you can't expect to get de bruyne in exchange for berna and hakimi for de sciglio, can you.
That's hardly doing your best Bro. Come on. Trading two semi useless players for a washed up Spaniard and an Italian plumber is hardly doing work. It's like @Dru said, you give them your shit and take theirs.

for the first time in the last 10 years i don't expect any real improvement on the squad. this post-corona mercato isn't your usual summer at all. we don't have liquidity, neither do the other clubs, so swap deals are the way to go. so tell me a realistic potential swap that includes de sciglio, and is an actual improvement for juve.

that being said, anything involving pedro for this summer is bs. he's out of contract in a couple of months, no club will give a player for him

I don't think so. Liquidity is plentiful for big corporations, just take a look at the COVID-19 relief funds. French MF said its 450Billions for them and they have like 3 factories and 5 farms. Our ownership just bought one of those factories, cause they refused to sell them the other for 5-10 Billions before the 'crisis', now they'll probably get more as COVID hazard pay.

I guess the play is to present the final bill to the chinese, though I suspect they'll leave this restaurant earlier than we'd hope.

Trying to trace his logic here:

-Passes up on an Italian talent for 30m in an area where some high school kid in the US would probably be an upgrade, when the last Italian "talent" we bought was 40m from Fiorentina.
-Won't be able to sell Higuian
-Wants 2 players in the aftermath of serious knee injuries
-May or may not get Pogba with il nuovo salary cap
-Some media say Arthur and Jorginho are who we want...meanwhile one DOES NOT want to come here, unfortunately that would be the better one
-Aouar feels like a pipe dream but probably fake news reporting so no use even discussing

What is his logic? Anyone?

I really don't know, but the rumors are depressing. This obsession with Fagjinho is sickening, and the names for midfield are hardly inspiring.

Sure, if missing out on Tonali means Van of the Beak and Aouar, then I can understand. Young players with lots of potential and experience in the biggest games.

But flogging off Costa for Fagjinho?

Cristante and Under for Mandragora and Rugani?

I don't know what's up with this incompetent douche and his financial gymnastics, but it seems the apprentice will get owned by the one eyed master this summer.

Magotta has more experience and players want to play for Conte. Also, Inter don't seem to have any problems selling their undesirables, while we offer our geezers and retirees contract extensions and struggle to get rid of overpaid deadwood.

Passing on Tonali is just retarded, full stop. Inter being Inter, they may manage to trash his career, but when the fuck will we learn? We miss out on every young Italian right now.

tbh i dont judge Paratici for what happens this summer considering the fucked up situation, i judge him for his previous actions that led to us being in such need.
Totally agree. Tici’s past four years have just been littered with failures, other than the CR7 miracle that happened simply because CR7 wants to come.

Other than that, he:
- failed to capitalize and bring back Pogba despite the player’s strained relationship with the club.
- failed to get witsel despite two years of begging
- brought in an expired Matuidi after five years of begging (that itself is a failure big enough that I don’t have to continue this list)
