He was very close to bringing in players like Verratti, Mbappe, Haaland... If he had been just a bit more brave and persistent, man, what a team we would have now...

But we can't have them all in the end. He probably learned some lessons there and immediately went in for players like Kulu, Chiesa, Rovella...

He has an eye for talent and he showed it in the past 10 years. I would stick with him, as I believe Nedved is the main reason why we sacked Allegri. At that point this club went downhill.

Stick with him but as head of scouting department or in a reduced role. We need someone to make the decisions like Marotta. Not necessarily Marotta, but someone who knows how to build a winning team

If a player is signed by Paratici, then later sold by Paratici... is this player good or is he bad?
It's Pirlol's aka The Thesis's fault or Chain Smoking Canceh's fault. If/When we change coaches, it's then that coach's fault.

Lord Tootsie always provides - its' the responsibility of the coach to make use of what the lord giveth.

I have it on good authority that coaches are 100% on Agnelli. Paratici has zero influence or say on coaching hires. :seven:

The responsibility for sure is Agnelli's. Paratici definitely is arguing for/against coaches and we can speculate what those arguments are/have been in the past, but he's not the one responsible for those decisions.
It is extremely hard to believe Agnelli handpicked Sarri. There is definitely a collective responsibility involved here. Ofcourse final say is down to him but it would've taken some convincing by Nedved and Paratici for Agnelli to ditch Allegri for Sarri.

It’s unbelievable that some members believe Agnelli is solely responsible for hiring coaches and the sporting director of the club has nothing to do with it lol. Of course Agnelli has final say, but it’s pretty obvious the guy responsible for all sporting aspects of the club, transfers, etc. would be a very large part of that and the initial person behind any coaching changes. Not to mention Paratici’s own quotes about loving Sarri and him being the first target and the ideal.

“In previous years, he had made an impression on us with Napoli and we felt for ourselves how good he was,” Paratici told Tuttosport. “Then he played great football in a difficult environment at Chelsea and in the Premier League. It’s not easy to be a foreigner in a different kind of football.
“He finished third and won the Europa League. A mix of these things led to us considering him as the ideal Juventus coach, from the beginning. He was our first choice.”

He literally called Sarri “the ideal Juventus coach.”

If this doesn’t spell clueless about what this club stands for, I don’t know what does.

IMO final say = responsibility from the facts available to public. Anything else is speculation

What speculation? Allegri has publicly gone on record saying Nedved and Paratici were influential in making the change and deciding to part ways with him.

Allegri says the hierarchy, citing all the three names(Agnelli, Nedved and Paratici) decided to make a change.

This is a direct quote coming from the coach who's been at the club for 5 years. This is as close as you can get for an evidence that recruiting the coach is a collective decision.

Where are the 'facts' that says Agnelli is solely responsible for hiring coaches?

Never said Agnelli is solely responsible, just like Paratici isn't solely responsible for mercato. However firing/hiring coaches, sporting directors etc is Agnelli's responsibility just like mercato is Paraticis, even if a lot of other people contribute to those decisions.

Sporting director and coach are very different levels in Serie A. This isn’t EPL where the coach is basically same level as sporting director and makes all the transfer decisions.

Paratici himself has confirmed that Sarri was literally his choice, “the ideal Juventus coach” lol. Of course Agnelli has to agree to it. He probably also has to agree to any big player transfers, but that doesn’t mean he’s the one who picks the coach to target. That’s pretty clearly the sporting director. And if he didn’t trust his sporting director’s judgment than why on earth would he have him in that position? Agnelli’s mistake is putting trust in Paratici as a sporting director. He was a great head of scouting working in unison with Beppe but clearly has a pretty little idea of what this club stands for, beyond that, with the comments he’s been making since his promotion.
