Apparently youth have to be absolutely perfect otherwise they don't survive
Apparently youth have to start regardless of whether they're crap + costing the team.

Jesus, you'd think this kid is an untouchable saint or something. Its borderline denial at this point the way you refuse to admit that he hasn't lived up to your initial expectations. I'm not surprised he's doing shit with the way some juventini were overhyping him to be the second coming of Marchisio or something. The pressure is getting to his head.

Here’s the thing with Miretti: he made the jump from serie C straight to serie A. Plus he’s only a teenager. Its only natural he’s gonna have his struggles, probably more so than most. But even during the struggles he flashes his talent. I like the idea of using him as a late game sub when chasing a result because he’s still one of our most attack minded players. Just might not be ready for a starting role, and that’s ok.
i even think he should start most matches against typical serie a sides that won't leave spaces. he finds those tiny holes better than anyone in our team. it's just that you can't expect him to excel vs inda, those players like calhanoglu have 10 years of more experience than miretti

today he was shit but who cares, it'll happen for years. world's best u20 mids like gavi or musiala still have off games and they have more experience. miretti will be fine. not world class but very solid

Weren't you one of many demanding Allegri to play more youth? Miretti is our best youth product, if he isn't good enough to play no one is.

Tuzzer being tuzzers as always..
I guess they prefer to watch Arthur Mello or Aaron Ramsey over this Gem.
Miretti had a bad game?? So whats your point.
Barella was shit today for Merda but i don’t see anyone targeting him.
And don’t compare him to Fagioli. I would
Not mind if one becomes world clas and the other good solid player. And in his defense he is only 19, so please shut the fuck up.

The only people over reacting are the people over reacting thinking people are over reacting...

No one is saying he is a bad player. Chill out.

I still won't be critical of youngsters playing. It's obvious that all young players need to improve. None are finished products unless they are unicorns like Mbappe.

Glad he and others are getting substantial minutes against strong opponents

The kid has 19 years old and has been playing out of position and STILL has show more guts and effort than many of our “starting” players that are injured.

Still a gem, still a great player and I still believe in him.

needs to improve:
quicker decision-making
physical strength
technique with the ball

all these require time and patience = experience. keep starting him and trust the process.

Rabiot had 3 yesrs of bad games but he played every game! Look at him now , but we had to suffer him for 3 years .

u say meretti had a bad game I disagree,
He run so much and sacrefised him self during the game , the last 20 minutes of the game he was dead tired, and is bot the great close to the goal he is box to box thats where he is great , im shure if u out messi in his prime to play as a left back he would have a “shity game”. He had not a shitty game he had a coach that put him somewhere he dosnet fit , but the boy sacrefised him slef and ran like crazy , there is a a reason why we actuly won and played not bad , but yes Fagioli would be much better in that postion and he couldve played in fagioli position,
And then every body has A bad day sometimes, how many days he had where he was one of the best players on the field…
