I like him and you can see he is a talented player with great potential.

But just about every game he is makes some dangerous mistakes. It is something you have to expect with young players but when you compare him to Fagioli who has been very tidy with the ball he doesn't look as ready to play.

He needs to get a bit stronger and lower the amount of time he needs when receiving a ball. In his defense, playing with a very defensive formation and leading the attack while facing 3 CB’s of Inter doesn’t make the job easier. I like the idea that he didn’t make a costly mistake and that this experience will make these youngsters grow a lot faster. Rather Miretti than Ramsey.

you wanted the youth. here's the youth and it's not perfect. more news at 11
Said it over and over again. Biggest enemy of the young guys isn't Allegri but the fans that want them to play. Most will turn on them in a second.

The others will laugh at Allegri for saying 'experience' but when young guys make mistakes they'll defend it with 'he's young, he'll learn'. Agree, but you know what that's called? Learning with age and through mistakes? EXPERIENCE

His decision making is slow. He's thinking what to do after he gets the ball. Fagioli already knows and does it quickly.

Disappointing, very irregular form. Typical of a teenager. He seems to miss more closer to goal, may not be ready for the AM role. Too little time there for him to make decisions.

With Di Maria and Chiesa back, and Fagioli breaking through, he will likely play less. I hope he keeps his confidence high and continues to try this hard.

Oh nice one, pulling up a quote from May without the hindsight that we have now. Great logic
nah, the reactionary nature of your posts make these funny as fuck. miretti good game = keep. miretti bad game = loan

just calma, he's young and raw, he'll be inconsistent, make peace with it, and let him develop. mistakes are part of it

jesus, the fact that i have to explain it

Bad game today, but the win should give him confidence. Max will keep playing him (like he should) because he rates him highly. He’s 19 and is allowed to have shit games. Him experiencing these high profile games can only do him good, even if he plays like shit in them.

These are the games a good coach (coaches*) will sit with you in a room watching the films and walking you through what you did well and where you fucked up. Simple.

A loan won't fix it, but continuity and feedback will.

Here’s the thing with Miretti: he made the jump from serie C straight to serie A. Plus he’s only a teenager. Its only natural he’s gonna have his struggles, probably more so than most. But even during the struggles he flashes his talent. I like the idea of using him as a late game sub when chasing a result because he’s still one of our most attack minded players. Just might not be ready for a starting role, and that’s ok.
