Unless we are bringing in an array of midfielders who are far better than what we have it doesn’t make sense send him on loan when he can already bring something to the team we don’t already have.

Ability to play forward passes.
Able to receive the ball under pressure and relieve that pressure with accurate passes around the corner.
A hunger/desire to prove himself.
Character.
Taking set pieces maybe.
Fills homegrown quota.

Dived in carelessly a few too many times and defensive position was a little off, but he’s 18 and those things can be learned.

We don’t have an endless pit of money and I’d be happier if we saved money on back up options so that we can spend what we have available on a supreme full back and a centre mid.

Rovella and Fagioli are already coming back from loan though:
Locatelli
Zakaria
McKennie
Rabiot
Ramsey
Arthur
Rovella
Fagioli
Miretti
Even with no additions (unlikely) we still have to get rid of 3 players

Ramsey will go on another loan where they pay 10% of his salary and if we are lucky some idiot will take Arthur off us. There clearly won't be room for 3 young players.

Yes I don't think we will change much. I'm thinking one of Fagioli/Rovella comes back and one new signing, two would be tough since we need to sell more. Maybe a year later after McKennie and/or Rabiot leave...

Yes it is. CL squad needs 4 homegrown names out of 25, otherwise your squad is smaller
same goes for the league, it's just that the definition of a homegrown player is different for the two competitions, and you have an unlimited number of u22 players you can include for the league. for example rugani is homegrown in the league, not hg in the cl, de ligt was u22 for this season in the league, a "regular" player in the cl. both lists follow the same 17+4+4 rule though, but with different definitions.

Yes, you need to be owned by the club between age of 15 and 21 to count. But for Serie A, even if you are loaned out somewhere you count. In CL, you need to actually be part of the squad. That's why Rugani and Spinazzola counted for Serie A. Atleast those were the definitions last time I bothered to check.

As for u22, iirc it was players who were still 21 or younger at the beginning of the calendar year for Serie A. So guys like Raspadori and Vlahovic still qualify for that next season I think. Correct me if I'm wrong. But I think this regulation doesn't exist in CL at all

Parents of Miretti explained:
"When he was a kid and went to the Juventus Christmas parties, he never asked autographs or pictures to the first team players. His teammates went back home with a lot of collectors. For him it was all natural. He kept repeating: In a few years I will be there with the big ones"

Fabio Miretti’s father: "I had called him the day before the match against Venezia & he had told me that he would start the game. I asked him 'Are you excited?', 'No, why should I be? If I have to play I play.' Nothing changes for him playing with Juventus or in the courtyard with friends, maybe as he grows up something will change.”

G shit

He won't get many opportunities here next season. I think it's best for his development if he's sent to another Serie A team, if possible.

One of Fagiot or Arturd is going to still be here (both if we are unlucky), SMS (hopefully), Zak, Loca, McNuggets, Rovella or Fagioli (one will be used in the trade for SMS)

Miretti and Fagioli offers something we're desperate for and they offer something completely different. It won't hurt to have them around and field them against smaller teams where we need creators combined with Zakaria's running and strength.
