In what I have sene of him, he seems composed, capable on the grass and in the air, and a decent reader of the game with quick legs. a LOT of potential. A perfect youngster to be 3rd choice along with a Legro or Canna. Nowhere near to what Kjaer could bring us. But then again, how will we know, until Ariuado has been truly blooded in a starting role for a prolonged period?

How many times did they watch him?
Ariaudo played 2-3 times for Juve and a total of 7 matches for Cagliari.
I bet that many of those who want him in Juve don't even know how he looks.
But why does he has to be proven to play for us, isn't it here where he should in fact play and improve? How the hell can he does that when there will always be 4 CBs who will always be looked at as the more experienced and thus the better option in case of injuries/suspensions? He was sent to Calgiari to have some playing time and that's what he had, he has started almost every match for them since his January move so IMO it's time for his to get back and at least have the chance to compete with the rest of our CBs yet he can't compete with Canna on the bench and Kjaer if he does in fact arrives this Summer, thus that old defender should pack his bags and leave, he himself looks confident about that. Lucky us :D

For some reason being young means being good.
I've never said that, but we can't continue this dilemma of shipping every youth product we have on loan till the eventual happens which is selling them or using their contracts as baits to get players from other teams. It has proven it's failure over the years and that's why I don't mind loaning them for a short time period then bringing them back if they actually proved something. Afterall, it's here where they should prove themselves.

No-one says he needs to be proven.
I say that none of us here really knows how good he is and if he has potential to be a great defender.

That's why I said that if the coaches who follow him think he's fine, then we should bring him back.
But I have a feeling that people here want him just because he's young.

I don't want him here just because he's young and I don't want to miss out on him just because he's not proven. I don't fucking know how good he is or can be and that's why I can't say if he should come back to Juve or not.

More often than not he saves our ass, not just this game. Yet there's still people who actually prefer Legro over him, for whatever reason, maybe the whole traitor routine.

Canna > Legro any day.

He has been consistently better than Legro in the second half of the season. Its not knee jerk reaction.

but canna needs to go because of age, may as well keep legro as backup.

Nah, Legro has no place in this team. He's old, and was never remotely close to Cannavaro in terms of ability. And it's exactly the reason why we've not been good defensively over the last few seasons, because we've settled for poor players.

He can play for the Vatican team or something.

Both need to leave, but stating that Cannavaro hasn't been better than Legro is pretty hilarious.
I thought your comments of, "he has saved our asses more times than not" was hilarious, as it's not only wrong but that would also mean your statement about him leaving is contradictory.

So which is it?

In my view, both Legro and Canna have been poor and they don't deserve a distinction between one another. But instead we fart around giving phony fluffed credit to players just because they have one good game that people focus on because they are shortsighted.
