He was still whistled in the beginning of the first match versus Chievo. That was after the pizza. Then he did what was necessary = pulling off one great performance after another. And that earned him the applause that was due. Football can be so easy at times.
That's hardly surprising if you consider the fact that Chiellini and Legrottaglie have been playing together for 2/3 seasons now. But despite that great understanding the pair Chiellini/Canna so far has pulled off the better performances this season.

Just give up on this subject already. If you can't agree with the fact that most of us here think that Canna Chiellini is better, just keep it to yourself, because you certainly won't change anything. The only one who can change that is Legro himself, and so far he hasn't convinced that he is better.
Since Canna is a Juventus player I advice you to wish that Legro plays so good that when Canna gets back from injury he wouldn't get automatic spot in starting 11.
This way we all will benifit. Majority of posters here - will not have to read your posts who seem to be very biased. You - you won't have to fight everyone here. Juventus - you will be wishing the best to our team

Canna is definitely not long-term but neither is Legro. Secco will probably sign a central defender next summer. Kjaer or Santocroce or any soild defender in the market. Btw, Santo does not seem to feature regularly under Donadoni ...
Nobody is doing any protecting, Canna protects himself from all the dissing by displaying astute defending and marshaling the Juve backline really well.
