Wait, Australia played the US? :rolleyes2
I am presently living in Melbourne, and hold an australian passport, but I have spent most of my life in england. My blood is sicilian/british, as is my character...So when I say WE, I mean Italy, as they are the national team I have followed since I was a nipper. I also follow England...though I have never been particularly passionate about their fortunes, unless Rooney is playing, as he is my favourite player in the game. And if the two ever meet, England v Italy, I am for Italy.

Never, have I been a supporter of Australia.

Canna takes on Juve hecklers
Wednesday 15 July, 2009
Fabio Cannavaro is confident he will quickly resolve the vicious split with Juventus fans when he begins pre-season training on Thursday.

“I have been kept up to date on what has happened and I am relaxed. I will finish my holidays and when I get to Pinzolo, we will talk about it. I’m confident we can sort it all out.”

A section of the ultras are so furious at his return from Real Madrid three years after the Calciopoli scandal that they have been staging protests with banners, fireworks and smoke bombs throughout the summer training camp.

Due to his participation in the Confederations Cup, Cannavaro will not actually arrive at the Pinzolo ground until Thursday, when the protests are expected to reach their peak.

The Ballon d’Or winner returns to Turin to find one of his former teammates – Ciro Ferrara – as the Coach and potentially Pavel Nedved as part of the staff.

“Pavel is extraordinary, a wonderful person. If he leaves football then I will be very disappointed. I hope to find him with us again in the technical staff. Pavel can still give a great deal to Juve.”

There are fresh new faces in the Bianconeri squad, such as Brazilian starlet Diego.

“He is a great player with immense quality,” continued Cannavaro in the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Due to his time in the Bundesliga, he has Brazilian talent and a German mentality. Basically he’s an almost perfect football player.

“Juventus have had an excellent transfer campaign and are ready to challenge on every front. We are ready to beat Inter and built for the Scudetto.”

Old twat... real intensification... that's the old version of Fabio. 36 and counting.
Welcome back, CUNTavaro, hope Giorgio will break your fucking leg. :)

Secco, I've got an idea: sign him to a 5 years contract!!! that's will be awesome.

Grygera, Molinaro and Cannavaro what a top class defense!

Camoranesi and Trezeguet would have left too if they had been allowed to. After a World Cup final, Serie B just does not look exciting. Silly to hate Cannavaro over this.
