It means that they have made an abnormal decision by not leaving Juve. Now, you know that not being a "saint" doesn't make one a "traitor". Not making an "abnormal" decision doesn't suggest that one has betrayed his team. I don't care about him leaving us when we were demoted. He didn't owe us anything. Juve paid for his salary and he played his most superb performances of his career for us.

Thing is that I strongly doubt he'd solve our defensive problems and if signing him will make our board not to invest on another defender, I'd call his signing a huge loss.

He's gonna have a crucial role in our team though and I think the fans have to support him no matter if they like him or not. We have to cheer for him for the good of our team.
