I honestly dont know whose better Mellberg or Canavaro. Note here though that canavaro is grandaddy blimen four years older than the former, whose an upgrade of who here?! and what kinda finances did we save on? a measley what 2.5m subject to what kinda salary they were/are both on.. this is hillarious... If you cant cry ah heck just laugh.
I hate canna cos he is a traitor, but I would never say that Mellber is a better player and certainly Canna is an improvement (for one year only). Mellberg cost us title last year, bcos of the draw we got to small teams the morale of the team fell down. I know that we won't get easy goals as long as we have cannavaro, instead of Mellberg. Almost forgot i'd prefer legro instead of both of them :)

Did you forget that the first goal in that match scored by Chievo was because of Chiellini?
Yes I forgot because chiellini scored another goal to equalize to 1-1 and correct his mistake :)

So if somebody makes a mistake and concedes and then he scores a goal, the mistake ceases to be a mistake? Thats great... What if Buffon makes a mistake? how'd his mistake cease to be a mistake? should he ask the coach to play him as a forward so that he could score and correct his mistake? lame argument my dear friend. If Chiellini hadn't made the mistake then the final score would have been 3-2 and Juve would have still won...

is that the way you insult people after you loose debates :)
You just picked one mistake out of an entire season and blamed our losing the title on it.

That means that:

1. Your argument is so flawed that everyone can see you are wrong and so there is no need to refute your point.

2. You are a pillock.

1. My argument was mellberg, so i pick chievo game as one of his mistakes which were a lot during the championship
2. you are bright man. not all of us are smart as you.

Why is a defender allowing a goal a bigger mistake than a forward missing a chance?

I know.

You don't get, our forwards scored goals 2-3 each game, but our defenders werent albe to get a clean sheet (except Ciro era) so you can't blame forwards ;)

How many last ditch tackles did Mellberg make to save our asses? How many mistakes did Chiellini make? Mellberg is a good solid CB. In his first season in a new team, new league, he made an admirable impact. He might not have been the best but he wasn't a disaster either.

Look back through various Juve squads of the last 20 years and tell me how many of the back up CBs were significantly better than Mellberg.
