I've got some interesting news :D
In 1988 Switzerland was represented by some young girl from French-language part of Canada. She won then and her name was Celine Dion, THIS Celine.

I don't like this ESC, as it's mostly untalented one hit wonders.

We (Malta) always seem to do well, and last year we were very close to clinch it. Who remembers our singer? Quite hot wasn't she? :D
:eek:

Maltese Juventino??:eek::eek:

:D

    No, she didn't. She sang in french. The rule was that, that the song has to be performed in the country's own languge.

    Really? I could have sworn she sang in English...

    BTW - how fortunate is that rule for countries like Belgium and Switzerland where they have three official languages, eh? :eek: :D

    Maybe Polen just wanted to be on the safe side :D

    BTW, Austria are in trouble. The singer has been warned to not make some of his "dance" moves.
