Yes, it aren’t traditional farms where you grow crops in the sun. It’s a brilliant piece of technology; glass houses where they control everything into detail. On some night skies above them turn purple or even pink due to photosynthesis they create within the plants.
What I personally like about it is that it was a conscious and political decision after WWII to heavily invest in food production and efficiency after the ‘hunger winter’, so it isn’t a succes formula of a farmer but years of innovation, and with succes.
