I saw a Cybertruck driving yesterday. Ugliest shit I’ve ever seen. I assume it was that Shitbag Tim Pool. Hope that shit exploded like a Lebanese Motorola pager.
Wasn’t he outed as somebody who was sponsored by the Russians? I’m assuming he’s still going strong?

this is a good summary:

so basically the romanian supreme court nullified the results of the first round of the presidential elections (results of parliamentary elections remain intact), new first round will be taken in january, georgescu could/will be charged (with treason?; i read conflicting news about it), and romania didn't fuck around, they declassified some intelligence material proving the russian intervention

some stuff in english:

standing ovation for romania. not the dearest foreign state to my heart but after the first round they behaved in an exemplary fashion.

(side note: orbán created some office to defend hungarian sovereignty. this office, full of fidesz chinovniks, condemned the eu for stepping in too late and blamed them for not to defend the romanian elections. no word on russia lol. i hate these motherfuckers.)

Interesting report from a few days ago, it appears that the main tiktok campaign that benefitted Georgescu was funded by the PNL (party of the current president Iohannis) and created by a Romanian marketing firm. Going by a translated version of that first link, the campaign and the influencers it recruited did not directly name candidates in their scripts which made it easier to be co-opted by supporters of Georgescu, but others have suggested that the underlying goal of the campaign was to draw votes away from the PNL's main electoral rivals and towards Georgescu (who was not expected to do so well). Irony is that it was Iohannis who released the intelligence report that suggested that the campaign was created and that influencers were paid specifically to promote Georgescu, though that report framed the whole thing as a foreign interference op which was then used as justification to cancel the election.
