he would never do something like that...and even if he did, he wouldn't over-celebrate it like the Cunt formerly known as Thierry Henry

The only thing in his mind after the goal was scored was the WC, of course he over-celebrated it.

Would you call DP a cheating cunt if he did the same thing?

Am not even a fan of del piero but one thing is for sure, He's a class act he would never grab the ball that way and go celebrate at the end of the game.

Absalutely disgusting the least to say.....
It is a disgusting thing to do, that we all agree on.

I'm just wondering if you would be so quick to call DP, Trezeguet, Camoranesi or any other Juve player a cheat had he done the same thing.

Who cares, they haven't done it yet, but Henry did. Just stick with reality and what has happened thus far, not skirting the issue towards other players just because you like Henry.

Robby Keane should have won it for them in the 2nd half.
:agree: Duff had a great chance too, it is sad that they went out this way but they did waste numerous chances to bury the game, their lack of big game international experience failed them against France, who despite their poor form have the know how of a traditional superpower which seems to mean a lot in playoff games

Fair enough, any player might have done it when faced with such high stakes. It is naive to really single out Henry as a cheating player just because of taking an opportunity almost any player would have. Doesn't mean I can't still hate him tho

No it is fair to call him a cheat...any other player who did that is also called a cheat, and Henry isn't an exception

Fuck Henry. He should be ashamed. If we'd won because an Irish player scored like that I'd be pissed off. Henry is pathetic. Bring in video technology now.

FIFA have gotten what they wanted: France in the World Cup.

I would say FUCK THEM ALL if they did that and celebrated at the end of the game. Like i've said i have no problem saying things the way they are even for players that play in my team.

Henry is a disgrace no two ways looking at it.

Missed all the matches in Europe tonight :(

I have to give it to Slovenia. They've always been, and still are, the least talented ex-Yu state when we're talking football. And even now, if you look at their team, apart from the goalkeeper Handanovic, you don't know anyone else in their team, just like it was some 9 years ago when they had Zahovic and 22 unknowns.
But the "Germans of the Balkans", as we called them, indeed have German discipline and nerves. It's almost unbelievable that they made it to 2 world cups and 1 euro in the last 9 years, while the much more talented Bosnians, Macedonians and Montenegrins can't do shit and can't qualify for any big tournament and the muuuuuuuch more talented Croatia and Serbia did just as good as the Slovenians.

Forza France! But forza Ireland too. I didn't watch the match but it looks like they've been robbed tonight. The French are hated mostly by the Azzurri fan boys who can't forget euro 2000 and the rivalry between France and their beloved Azzurri. That's why: Allez Les Bleus.
I can't dislike the NT of Zidane, Trezeguet, Deschamps and other Juve legends.
Shame that both teams couldn't make it for the World Cup.

The Bosnians were a catastrophe from what I heard. Everything they did so far was useless because in the play offs they proved that they're far from deserving to be in South Africa. Congratulations Portugal.

In the end, congratulations Greece. Not a fan of theirs, but their euro 2004 winning generation, or what's left of it, deserves a chance to play at a world cup.

What's not to like about Greece?

I think it's hilarious watching teams banging their head against a brick wall the whole game, only for Greece to nick a goal from a set piece. :D
