True story: I cut and paste it in the feedback form on their Web site right after I posted my "test" copy here. :agree:

The thing that really burns me is that I don't mind if they want to have their own network to circle jerk over EPL and England. Every national league or NT supporter group should be entitled to something like that.

But then to acquire exclusive rights to broadcast national teams that have nothing to do with the England NT is injurious -- forcing fans of other NTs to suffer the insufferable British-cock-slurping display during the audio presentation of the match or not see the match at all. Then adding insult to that injury is f*%#ing up the feed so that 85% of the match isn't viewable anyway.

It's as simple as this: Hands off shit you don't understand, Setanta.

So, i open my bookmaker's site to take some bets for Wednesday and then i see the odds on Croatia-England.

Croatia to win : 2.60 ( you get 260 euro if you bet 100 euro)
Draw: 3.15
England to win : 2.40

The match is played in Croatia, we spanked their asses when we needed the win and even when we didn't need anything and they only needed a draw.
We humiliated them in London and their displays as of late haven't been any good.

Can someone tell me how can England be favorites for the bookies ?

I'm taking the Home win.

The bookie is based somewhere in the Carribeans but i think it's European.

And even more, Gerrard, Hargreaves, Carrick, Owen etc, won't play for them against us, but they are always favorites, of course.

People became millioners because of the bookies' consistence to make England favs whenever they play. All you need to do is to bet against them and you'll surely get very high odds.

Well, i don't think the owners are from there. It's about the taxes i believe, that's why they register the bookies there, but the owners are usually European or Asian.
In my case, i think the owners are from Norway.

But it's not only my bookie. All the bookies set England as favs against us, or in best case, they give 50-50 chances.

Btw, Andy, big news was that Antunes got to start at left back for Portugal. That's a pretty bold move. It shows that Quieroz is desperately unsatisfied with the other options (as well he should be) that he wants to take a chance with a young and untested guy who can maybe prove himself there.

I know you hate Quieroz and all, but I thought it was a good move.

Of course, you couldn't tell any of that from Setanta's coverage. :(

That is a pretty good move. Taking chances on youngsters is something I wish all my teams do, but don't. Juventus and the USNT.
