This is considered as one of the most prestigious fixtures in the Europa League so i hope that we do not make much changes to the team that beat chelsea although i would like to see Given and AJ starting a game.

The match takes place on Thursday 30th September 20:05 BST (+1 GMT) at the COMS.

In my opinion the formation should be as follows in order to counter their 4-4-2(sorry for the left back / right back mixup)

I predict that we will win 3-1

3-1 City.

3-1 City I'm reading? To be honest I can't see us conceding.

2-0 City Think he will follow the same formation as the last agem in europe , I think ade will play to help tevez out up top against the likes of chiellini . Jueventus don't scare me in the slightest , massively overrated . Del Piero has quality but is past it and we are simply the better team . The only player I would watch for is krasic , good player lots of pace and great crosser of the ball . I think he will change it throughout the game and maybe bring on AJ even though I would like to see AJ start but I think silva will get the nod due to ruropean experience

I don't see any thing wrong with this, apart from the poor spelling and grammar. In fact, I agree with most of what is written.

I'm sorry but fuck this, I don't think we will lose 3-1 it will be close, we will stretch them in defence, we will play very physical, they have a few injuries in defence no? The defence will hopefully hold up, I'm confident Chiello and Bonucci can contain Tevez.

Pepe will tear them a new one, I think he will have a great game. Would be great to have Amauri for this one.

Players?

Defense doesn't look great, I don't really rate Barry, If they play two attacking wingers (which I doubt) we could really hurt them.

If they play Tevez alone I think we can try and isolate him.

Motta:
City is proof of how big-name signings and big spending, almost 100million euros if I'm not mistaken, is not enough to obtain great results.
But it's clear that they are a rival that has all of our respect and we will have to be on guard.

We are trying to adapt with the arrival of at least 10 new elements this summer. To assemble the newcomers takes time. Winning helps you win, and allows you to train meeting the expectations of the fans, the club and a great coach like we have.

Martinez:
I'm feeling very well and I've fully recovered from my injury. I've been working hard to return to full match fitness for the past four weeks.

I was already available again for last weekend's match against Cagliari. I still lack a bit of match rhythm though.

I hope to return to match action as soon as possible. Like every player, I want to get regular first team action. However, it's up to the coach to decide when he wants to field me again. For now, the most important thing is that I'm match fit again.
