Awful performance tonight, defending was abysmal and we didn't deserve a clean sheet. A lot of misplaced passes in the middle of the park and at times we were were trying to walk the ball into the goal. Tevez work rate was superb but his finishing wasn't as it usually is. Pogba motm.
However i do think a 2-0 home win is enough to see us through.

I just don't see how or why Conte would go about things differently between a game in Europe and a game in Italy. I think the biggest difference is that teams aren't scared to attack you. They know that if they lose and they are the underdog so be it, in Italy it's different. We also probably don't have as much time to play our game as it moves a bit faster. Now against the bigger teams they are a bit more cautious as they know we can play and they don't want to ship a goal, so they go about it a bit differently. So that's my answer. I'm guessing you were hoping I was going to say Conte. But that doesn't make sense to me.

i dont understand the hate for isla and peluso today. only buffon and osvaldo had a good game, the rest pretty much sucked. tevez fell and lost so many balls, pirlos passing horrible, marchisio did nothing. pogba atleast showed and had a few great passes+goal. imo the mentality our team showed is contes working, and justified. no exhusted players , no inj is the important thing

Is this Europe syndrome contagious?

This performance was poor, no doubt about it, but our performances over the last 4 weeks have been no different. I'm not sure if we've run out of steam, but with a minimum of 15 games to play I the next month we better get some of that gas back, or Roma will snatch out crown quicker than a tramp snatches chips.

The other thing I didn't understand, we were at home, were the superior team in all aspects... Why are we playing on the counter? We don't play on the counter ever, so why did we adopt that approach? Conte got that gameplan wrong today, and we were lucky

Few things:
Even Isla was better than Peluso BOTH MUST BE SOLD AT ONCE.
We always applaude Marchisio but he was very,very bad tonight.Someone will say "Oh he was running",so what.His passes were awful.
When I watch Peluso I understand that De Ceglie and Molinaro were Messi over him.Idiot.Not a simple good move.Ogbonna was bad also.
We played so bad that it hurts.We will never win this second rate tournament with this kind of game.With this kind of game we wont beat even fucking Fiorentina.
Maybe someone will disagree but with this type of game we will have too many problems even with Torino,
Without Asa and Lich our system falls apart.
