The problem is that we lack a lot even when Diego is playing. There are at least 3-4 new good players needed in the starting XI.

And the worst part is that next season we may have to sign a new Striker to replace Trez, a World Class LW as I think Martinez won't cut it and possibly just possibly a new SS if Diego doesn't adapt to that posistion well enough.

I couldn't watch the game, how did we play?

Not too good, we played some nice football sometimes just not often enough but a lot of it was down to the really poor weather conditions. The match could of easily been called off. Defense was solid, Motta and Bonucci especially were good, Amauri looked lively again, Diego worked hard but wasn't able to use his skills because of the pitch, Lanza was good at times showed a few goos skills and Pepe was poor. Del Piero was great when he came on and his goal was one of his best. Marchisio and Sissoko were not great imo they done their defenseive duties well but against such poor oposition i would of liked at least one of them to show a bit more on the creative side. Shamrock Rovers worked really hard and if it wasn't for the conditions im sure we would of beat them by more.
