If we do elect to play a 3-5-1-1, we should push Pogba up. Marchisio hasn't been much of an attacking threat since 2011 and Pogba has a fantastic shot on him. I'd rather he was put into a more advanced position.

Can't argue with that reasoning but I'm still sure that conte would Marchisio up there behind Llorente.

As I said a while ago, their CB pair is ridiculously slow. And they're an attacking team so there is going to be chances to get at them and exploit them so Tevez will be vital imo

We never played 3-5-1-1 vs Bayern. There were some suggestions, but it remained on that.

Ok maybe not bayern but i clearly remember playing marchisio behind vucinic with pirlo vidal n pogba in midfield....that was when pogba started taking marchisio place end of last season.

Ideally yeah he should but i guess marchisio has a better work rate so he can do more of both attacking and defending .
