The number of spoilt kids here, you guys just don't deserve this team.

Happier than I was after the first leg vs Fio. Atleast now we know what has to be done, the objectives are clear and we will come out on top. My only fear is our attitude after scoring the first goal.

they have different numbers in different tournaments but this is put average numbers:
Aerial duels won
Pogba - 49%
Chiellini - 60%
Caceres - 58%
Asamoah - 56%
Bonucci - 47%

Garay - 64%
Luisao - 63%
Cardozo - 45%
1) Is that just today's game? I mean generally, dude.

2) Winning half of the duels, would not make him poor. And the guy you implied he shouldn't be marking, Cardozo, has worse stats than him...

It's obvious - Cardozo has been marked often by the strong central defenders who is superiour to Pogba in aerial duels, of course you can't win every aerial duel against Chiellini, Silva and so on

There are no stats from Portugal league for Benfica, that's why i can't post full stats of Benfica's players

so youre comparing his stats with only Juve players who play behind him on the pitch and therefore have an advantage when going into ariel duals?

But Pogba wasn't?

What are his stats for the season?
Pogba is playing in the central zone and we don't play long balls from defence to our central zone so Pogba doesn't have to fight for it in the air often, while Cardozo as central forward is fighting in the air much more than Pogba, and not against small or average central midfielders, but against strong central defenders, so if you will use Pogba as central forward his aerial duels % will go down badly, why you can't understand this. Plus Cardozo was injured for a long time, he only started in 5 games in national league, came from the bench in another 9 games and played only 1 full match in europa league, so it's impossible to get full picture of his stats atm

Pogba will not face as many aerial duels in the centre of the pitch as would a forward or defender. A higher % of his duels would be on set pieces (which favour the defending players anyway), where they would put their strongest players on him.

And still, 49% is not poor, it's even. I'm sure his seasonal stats are way more. I can't find them, and I know you love stats, so if you could provide them, that would be great.

Yes, cause he is tall and he doesn't have to fight in areal duels against guys like Thiago Silva, Benatia, Ramos while Cardozo has to do it as central forward

2nd goal - Pogba is sleeping, walking around, too busy to run and mark Lima, Bonucci is staying near Benfica's player which was already marked by Caceres and instead of run towards Lima and block him, he tried to move left and to block his shot :sergio:

I'm not sure what those arrows are supposed to represent, but to me it looks like Pirlo's the one mainly at fault. If those two pics are consecutive, it looks like all he did was take one step.

when you play, you're supposed to look around the field. not just at the ball. it's called keeping your head in a swivel. it would be ridiculous for Pogba to track Lima's run from his position.

are you blind or something? he was in 1 metr from Lima, with his long stride he would have caught him easily, while Pirlo was watching on the ball, he wasn't able to turn his head, watch replay, fool, you definitely never played football in ur life
