You gotta admit, pogba's goal was well deserved though, the sheer power, nothing was gonna stop that.

You deserve what you get.

I think people have a problem understanding the knock-out system. It means that you don't face every other team in the competition, you only face the teams you are drawn against.

It would have been nice to see manure lose, but come on, why worry about Mickey mouse clubs playing Mickey mouse competitions when you are playing in the CL final. Also this might turn out to be a good thing, these manure assholes think they had a successful season, so they will keep spending 200 mil every summer with no plan or direction

I read that somewhere, don't remember why, but it's a myth that EL gives automatic qualification
I think you mean if real Madrid win it, then Utd will end up in playoffs?

From UEFA:

"Regarding the top three associations (currently Spain, Germany and England): if two clubs from one of these countries win the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League, and neither finish their domestic league in a position that qualifies them for the UEFA Champions League, the following will happen:

– The club that won the UEFA Champions League will go straight into the group stage.

– The UEFA Europa League winners will go into the UEFA Champions League play-offs.

"

Edit: ignore, this doesn't apply either as real Madrid has already qualified.

@Cerval

You've misheard.

Winners: Juventus

• Juventus have already qualified for the group stage via their domestic league, thereby would create a vacancy in the group stage.

• To fill that vacancy, the UEFA Europa League winners would definitely enter the group stage.

• The third-placed Italian side would enter the play-offs, league route in accordance with the 2017/18 access list.

Basically, united are in group stages, irregardless of who wins in cardiff.
