Unsuprising, but still nice to hear that United Legend Van Der Sar chosing his home club over the ratcunts: "My soul concentrates on winning with Ajax and on Wednesday the 24th theres only one team"

no, EPL will have 5 teams in CL, top 3 and Manu starting in group stage

PS: my statement above is garbage. I forgot that Liverpool already are in CL qualification anyway since they finished 4th
Yeah I know

But some other team from another country has to fall off the grid, right? CL qualification spots are limited after all.

IIRC, the 'extra' spot comes into being because Madrid are qualified twice (through league and through CL win). They are listed twice on the access list. As 'Champions League title holders' and as one of '12 champions from associations 1–12'

No idea what happens if the CL winner doesn't qualify for CL via league route but that rarely to never happens anyway

Then the Europa League winners get pushed to the play-offs.

Ajax just have too many kids, I can't see them winning. A 17 year old central defender, come on.
Its between him and 20 year old Riedewald, though im inclined to think the 17 year old Ligt will be chosen. Ligt wouldnt have started if it wasnt for their more experienced CB viergever getting sent off against Lyon. Its a big loss for them and could proove to be the difference.

In such a situation, The CL winner gets a place in the next edition at the expense of the last qualified team from their domestic league I think. The last (and first I suppose) example was when Di Matteo's Chelsea won it while ending BPL at 5th. They took Tottenham's spot who were 4th.

Rules have changed, no one loses their spot won through league, EL and CL winners get exclusive access. So if MU finished in top 4 and won EL, England wouldn't have 5 teams, but if MU finishes below top 4 and wins EL, England gets 5 teams in CL.

I like this, because it makes it easier for us to win
