Perhaps to the likes of you, who have been sipping that "Blinded By Serie A" Koolaid
For someone who regularly resorts to statistics, you are being quite the hypocrite in labeling Serie A superior to La Liga; you shot yourself right in the foot.
Serie A teams have won how many UEFA club competitions over the past 10 years? What has Italy, as a nation, won since 2006? Just dwell on that for a moment.
But hey, highly rating a coach who guided Chile to the Copa America title, and the guy who ended the Real - Barca hegemony in Spain is considered exaggeration these days
Exactly. I really dont like him, but cant deny his a really good manager. 2 CL finals with Atletico in 3 years, thats a giant achivement. In 2014 they were even seconds away from winning the whole thing - people seems to forget that.
Oh that reminds me even more why i hate Real Madrid. Allways so lucky in CL finals

Pellegrini said a couple of days ago in China that he isn't into the idea that u have to do everything to win and I agreed with him (maybe in a UCL or WC final u can do it but not in any important game that u have)
As u said, Porto didn't even try to win in any moment the game with actually playing any level of football, they decided to copy Atlético in the very worse way possible and what It really pissed me off is when ref played they part to allow those kind of anti-football game

Sometimes It feels like a little more than luck. For instance, their last tittle against that 10°-position-japanese league you could say that ref statements about someone saying by his earphones that It wasn't a second yellow card against Ramos (I bet "that someone" has spanish accent)
They are all before the CL games though. Don't think they'd allow them to be played at the same time. Same goes for league games, Valencia and Real play just prior to our game too.
I don't know the other matches, but: Saint-Etienne - Manchester United because of the safety reasons.
Tommorow is Lyon - AZ and there is only 50 km between both. There is not enough police to cover both matches good enough and possiblity for clashes between supporters. So they decided to play wednesday and thursday a match to get more police by both matches/cities.
For the Schalke game: it has been moved because the game is a high risk game and they can not provide enough police on Thursday because of carnival in Germany.
