Some time ago, Thiago Cionek got a polish passport. In training the following Monday, Polish coach Adam Nawałka spent half an hour explaining the game during Cionek's first practice session. Nawałka pointed at a football and said, "Ball." He pointed at the nearby net and said, "Net." Then he kicked the ball into the net and said, "Goal."

Thiago Cionek stood up, offended, and said, "Excuse me coach, but my Polish is good!" Nawałka responded, "Sit down, boy. I'm talking to Milik."
