Croatia's finishing is poor, but other than that one of the best performances so far. Good team, great play. I like them.

Rakitic Modric Badelj Perisic Brozovic all are better/had better seasons/played much more in their clubs, thats the reason I think. As a sub he wasn't needed today considering they had the lead for most of the game

Disappointing result. The opponent was terrible and we played well, but the finishing will probably cost us later. If we get a draw with Spain, the GD will decide who wins the group and this narrow win is probably gonna decide it in Spain's favor.

On a different note, it's ages since I've seen such a fat professional footballer like that Turkish guy.

Not good enough (yet) when compared to Modric and Rakitic. They are his rivals for a spot. Badelj plays more defensively, while Brozovic and especially Perisic are more versatile.

Very solid performance from Perisic btw. Deserved the goal, but because he's an Interista cunt God decided against it.

I have I good reason to say what I said. If we finish second our road to the final will (most probably be) Belgium-Germany-France. I'd like to avoid Belgium and such a tough road.
I know that we're more than good enough to make it through this group so I take that as a given. But I'd like to win the group and get a piss easy road after that. Goal difference could easily be the decider who wins this group, thus the disappointment with the result. The 3 points and the performance were more than satisfying.

On another note, what a team Croatia have!! The goals will come, very few times I have seen a team in an international tournament able to impose play and score goals in the first match. I hope Croatia wins over Spain.

Belgium-Croatia would be an awesome game though. Both teams will try to have the ball as much as possible and play positive football.
