As a pure finisher Ronaldo is probably better. Overall Griezmann offers more. And now that he plays for an offensive team and Ronaldo plays for a defensive team, Griezmann scores more too.

It's very close. And I'd rather have Griezmann than Ronaldo on my team right now.

Messi's heights he won't reach. But Messi has been in significant decline for a while now.

Everyone in their right mind would rather have Griezmann. He's 25. He's smack dab in his early prime. Ronaldo is starting to physically decline, same with Messi, because they play too much. They really should start regulating their minutes in the league, and other meaningless matches, so as to have them in prime condition come the end of the year. They've been playing far too much for so many years, you can see it taking its toll late in the season and then in the internationals in summer.

But, Ronaldo and Messi are a still far above Griezmann for basically the entire club campaign. Maybe the last month as they start to burn out, things even out more.

But the Germans had most of the game. It would have been a different story should the Germans had taken the lead I think.
