Both are losers. I have little sympathy for losers.

England have quality players. They had quality players in the past too. But they refuse to acknowledge that you need to build a team to win things. They have no memorable identity whatsoever. They reached the final through sheer luck once again.

This sort of football deserves to be retired to the dustbin of history. The guy has the best squad by a mile in the competition and chose to play like a minnow and kept counting on moments of individual magic to get through.
Commentators already talking about learning from Spain. In Euro 2020, they talked about copying Italy. Maybe it's the fact that they can't forge their own identity that's the problem. I agree with the players though some really top quality players have come through in this England squad. They will be a danger again, but the path they had to the final has to be said is ridiculous, surely next time they deserve to get much tougher opposition early on.

Everyone loses sometimes though.

It seems like they're converting to Allegrism, all another reason to hope they lose. Inshallah their fate ends the same way.
