is fabian a master of the midfield arts or what.

forget about koopenmiers. give the 40m to psg for fabian
I like him to be here too as koop price is too high. From last year until before euro i think i've read rumours he was on the market for 25m as PSG looking for star midfielder.
I don't know maybe after euro PSG change their mind. Now the rumours said ugarte is in the market so maybe fabian is not for sale.

He is not Zizou level yet. Jude has just made his name with his runs into the box. He’s good but let’s not go crazy on him yet.

I mean strictly how he turns and moves with the ball at times, while being same size as Zizou. Feels in control in effortless way.

Who cares about Kane. I became team England since Eze came on. And they have Jude the dude, the black Zizou.
I really really really like Eze. Immediately caught my attention at Palace.

Don't get me wrong. I don't want England anywhere near a tournament win. And I don't think Eze is the world beater that Nico Williams might become. But he's just such an entertaining player to watch.

He's a touch heavy though. Zizou was definitely more graceful. But frankly you're pointing to arguably history's greatest midfielder, so we're clutching at straws here.

The goals are glossing over a pretty mediocre tournament for Bellingham, but that's because Southgate isn't using him close enough to goal so he can also play Foden.
Jay do you think most of this guys are really following Southgate's game plan given how games are developing? I highly doubt they trust him..

There is nothing more important in football than goals.

In that sense his tournament is phenomenal.

Yes but I'm obviously talking about general performance, which is down to the coach as he is more often moving him away from the goal. Unsurprisingly, when the team attacks, either through normal phases or through desperation, if you put Bellingham around the penalty area he has the technique and physique to be a real weapon.

You'd think this guy was Napoleon, the players follow him no matter what. I can't say that's the case to a man but look how the players defend him. He's obviously a great player's coach, and that is the route the FA took. They tried the tactical and disciplinarian coaches, they tried good old Woy and Shteve, but Southgate is the kind of personality you can put in charge who won't do anything too rash or rock the boat, he'll keep players in check, he's very safe. Essentially you're banking on the guy to not do anything too silly and just let the very good players at his disposal do the rest.

Pundits and fans will never agree with such a cautious coach because the mentality is still "were Ingerland, we'll score one more than you" and the attacking players suggest that would happen with the handbrake off. But you see how nervy the defence looks under pressure, how Declan Rice has to hold the midfield together, maybe what he's doing is right to win a tournament? England might have blown these first four teams away but then the worry is they face someone good at QF or SF and get picked apart. Time will tell, I guess.

In part yes. But Bellingham has the tendency to drift. Did it for Real the last couple of months too. In my opinion that's not really one of his strengths as he does not have the body frame to do that for 90 minutes. In fact I think you're very correct in pointing out that Bellingham is weapon around the box and that's where he should be.

England have never had a fluid, tactically strong team.

I'd argue that has always been England's weakness. They might have the names and the talent, but there are zero tactics involved. If you look at Spain, Germany, Italy.. Those countries have had very refined football teams in the past and present. Players who know where they should be, players who look like they've been playing as a team for decades. No such thing with England.

Based on his stats he is better than all our midfielders.

Also Aston Villa has to sell one of their "big names" (even for a lower price) otherwise they risk points deduction in EPL.

The problem is his value on transfermarkt is 70mil and McKennie's 25mil...so we would need to treat this kind of deal carefully, because you know who, will be all over our assess again.
Speaking of Foden, why I'm not being paid as of now and what the hell have I bet on?

PFA Award is essentially player's player of the year award. It's usually announced in August.
