I used to like the Azzurri and never miss their matches but because of how the FIGC treat us, I lost passion for them and generally feel indifferent about them. I hope they lose honestly. Inter-centric Italy doesn't work and I want that proven in this tournament.
The fact that the Italy badge has freaking figc written on it makes me give 0 fucks about this team.

Chiesa comes on immediately lol. This country and her corto muso disease.
Very enjoyable though.
funny thing is how obvious it is for anyone looking at the starting lineup from an outside perspective

darmian, di lorenzo in terrible form, semi injured dimarco, jorginho, retegui, raspadori are too much to carry. also cambiaso looked sharp, pellegrini wasn't bad at all, fagioli (if healthy) is their best player on the ball, even gatti is a better cb than darmian, especially against a physical team that takes the game at you. so many obvious mistakes in the lineup. and that's just the lineup, let's not even get started on the tactics and the mental preparation. when your aim is a 0-0 you're 100% supposed to concede

they can still equalize but that was a shit lineup, shit tactics, shit approach to an other important game

yeah remmber in years past? depsite them being rival players you couldn't help but admire the likes of pirlo totti or maldini.

now? i don't even like juve's italian players, let alone rest of league lmao.
It doesn't help that Modern football has chased away all of those types of players

The lazy Technical #10s who make shit happen eith moments of magic are gone.

#9s are barely hanging in there (even though teams that don't use them typically flop look at Germany)

Deep lying playmakers too will be extinct when Kroos retires.

We're left with these frauds. And Italy just can't produce modern attackers to save their damn lives.
