He's supremely arrogant, but good enough to be like that. Also has the build to handle himself.

Sorry I made this post forgetting that Southgate is coach. He loves inviting teams on as if he has Italy's 1982 defence.

His teams do this regularly, it's probably the main criticism fans/media have about him, because they just want attacking football. He's quite a cautious coach. This would be normal for a lot of Italian teams though.

Mitrovic is more lethal than Dusan in the box, and our boy isn't that good behind the main striker. Tadic for Vlahovic might be the smart choice for Serbia. Then again, Dusan can score out of nowhere too, and it's a tough choice to make. Playing with all three of them will be a suicide against this England, though.

He had quite good season in Slovenian league for NK Maribor.
31 games played (63min/game), with 8 goals and 10 assists.
It's not Atalanta Iličić anymore, but still has that magic touch in him.

He is supposed to be that "instant impact" player for the last 15-20 minutes (because his fitness level is not the best), so i was really surprised our coach didn't put him in today. Today we were just one or two touches of magic away from winning.

Is the sub of Gudelj for Ilic that big of a difference? A clumsy butcher for a ball playing playmaker.

Southgate is just Southgating. England playing like the match was over at halftime.
