Happy to admit i was wrong about Italy.
Playing with far more imagination than i had expected. Definitely a whole being greater than the sum situation with them.
Albania are a well organized side so the performance so far is nothing to sneeze at.
Di Marco has recovered from the brianfart as well.

I expected the creativity or at least the off the ball movements to allow Spalleti's vision. I think the set up will work better against better teams as there are a lot of runners out there.
A question for people who watch football; I have mainly seen Pellegrini play against us. Whenever I have seen him over the years he has been largely invisible 90 mins but finds himself in the protocol for an assist or goal. How good is he really? I can't really get my head around him.
Edit: on the other hand... Albania is sitting deep so we can have our width through Chiesa and Dimarco, to allow Pellegrini to roam. But against a better team Dimarco will not always be able to provide that width since he starts from deep (now he sits more as LM/LW). The counters will be easier to stop since opponents can focus on sticking close to Scamacca and Chiesa.
