I see a boring 2-2 draw similar to that of Denmark vs Sweden in 2004.
This system with the best ranked third teams advancing is really harmful to the tournament imo. If two teams win their first game and meet up for the second, they may want to settle for a point each.

But as I explain below the draw between Croatia and Albania might change that.

The Croatia-Albania draw changes the mentality of Spain-Italy going into this game now. I feel there will be less urgency.

Prediction is 1-1
I think the draw is actually a good thing.

If Croatia had won, a point for Italy and Spain each would have seen the both of them on top of Albania regardless of the outcome of the final group game.

If they draw now, they each have four points. But Spain would risk going out if they lose against Albania and Italy would risk going out if they lose against Croatia. After all, when teams end up with equal points the first rule to determine who advances is who has the higher number of points obtained in the matches played among the teams in question.

So if for example Italy lose to Croatia on the final day after drawing with Spain today, both Italy and Croatia would have 4 points. But Croatia advance, because they beat Italy.

I have a sneaking suspicion that if the game is level at around 2/3rds of the way through the match. Neither team will chase the victory. Spain know they will still top the group with their last game against Albania. Italy never would have expected to top the group anyway and having 4 points going into the last match means that unless they lose heavily against Croatia, they are still likely to go through at worst in 3rd place with 4 points.

Do Serbs and Slovenes generally get along well? Or are there any underlying balkans tensions here?

Would really like to see Serbia win the game.

Slovenia was the first of the republics to break away yeah? How long did that war last?

Btw Vlahovic playing like shit again. Barely see him perform well for his NT

Serbia are perennial underachievers in big tournaments in general

They had a way better squad in the 2010s and still found a way to shit the bed

Biggest underachieving country from Eastern Europe imo given the players they have produced over the years.

Nothing too bad in regards of tensions, some casual dislike of all immigrants from Yugoslavia and that’s about it from Slovenian side.

The war lasted about 2 weeks but it was more of a number of isolated skirmishes instead of some all out war.

My understanding is Serbia is seen as the common enemy among all countries in the Balkans. Croats, Bosniaks, Albanians all hate them it seems.

And then there's this territorial conflict of Kosovo which takes the hate up a notch.

It's most commonly their ego...a lot of them think they are better than others and that everything is theirs.

Once i saw a (serious) video talking about how Jesus was Serb lol

I bet that even at this moment, when he's almost 60, Serbia's manager is still a better footballer than most of his players.
On another note, despite some praising Kante's performance, those who went to the Saudi league have seriously declined. It's crazy that Milinkovic-Savic is on the bench, or that Brozovic was a dead man after an hour against Albania, when only a year ago he could run for three matches straight.
