After Chiellini, Italy is a joke in defense. Also Spalletti isn't any different from Mancini or the frauds that coached this team after Conte. I don't really feel bad for the national team anymore honestly, just want our players to be back uninjured.

Deserved lead for Switzerland.

Freuler on loan wouldn't be the worst move we could make for depth in midfield. He's a good player, Nottingham don't want him and knows Motta's system.

Darmian, Cristante and El Sharaaway have been poor and are odd starters.

Italy needs to wake up before it gets even worst, they need to make some major changes at half time
They need to lose this game 4-0 and the FIGC can see the state of the game they have overseen. The last Euros win glossed over a lot of things. They just presume Italy will turn up with any ragtag bunch and be a protagonist.

Di Lorenzo is having a stinker of a tournament. I'm not just meaning his comedy slip there, in the build up to the goal he was standing 5 yards behind the rest of the defence.

His head is gone, he looks like a zombie. Makes you wonder how Spalletti doesn't see it, or maybe just has no answers to it.

Fagioli shouldnt be playing professional football… I know you guys like him a lot but the guy is dead awful and at fault for the goal too

He was the only one showing some flair and creativity. Mancini was at fault for that goal. Completely flunked the ball earlier before it led to the goal.

As obviously as the sun rising. If you just kick the ball away, don't press, and sit further and further back watching players it's only a matter of time before you concede a goal.
Spalletti completely messed up the preparation and player choices for this one, got them starting on the wrong foot, hopefully he manages to adjust things at half time.
