I thought Southgate was a reasonable guy, but just lost all my respect for him.
The English are the last to talk about that when they invaded around a third of the world themselves.
Not to forget if they justify booing Germany for something that happened back in 1939-1945 then it just shows they're the only European country that still didn't move on from WW2.

Well, if that’s what this tournament boils down to, then I remember a time when we fought for our independence against the red coats, fought through blood sweat and tears to defend our rights to religion and freedom, and those fuckers still don’t apologize for it. Some days ago there was a discussion here about the best national teams. In regards to the European NTs, I created a table with all their "medals" at WCs and EUROs. The order is made following the rules in the Olympic games, where a gold medal is worth more than a thousand silver medals.
Now, regarding tomorrow's final, Italy's position won't change if they win or lose. However, England are historically the 9th best NT in Europe. If they lose tomorrow, they will remain 9th, but if they win they will become the 5th best NT in European football's history and one of the 5 NTs who won more than 1 big trophy.

Nice table and in the context of footballing nations, England are severely lacking. The top nations have top leagues, EPL has too many foreigners propping up the English status and you'd expect England to have actually won stuff given that EPL is supposedly the best in the world.
I don't know how it is in Italy but England seem overly confident, apparently player for player they shit on the Italians and will blow them away tomorrow.
