Add Leonardo Spinazzola's injury to the luck that England has had. I am beginning to believe in this jinx and anti jix thing you people have gone on about all these years.
I'm not sure Spina would have been given that many attacking duties as he used to have. He'd have defended against Sterling I think.
Italians need to control the midfield, let Chiesa and Insigne work on the attacking part and defend the flanks well. Chiellini and Bonucci will take care of Kane.

1:0, or more probably 2:1 win for Italy.

Fair enough if england had beaten danmark without cheating, but this is just disgusting. Gifting the easiest road to the final and on top player at home all but one knockout match, and corona stopping away supporters. Its just laughable. I have more faith that south korea was a fair wc than this currupt competition

Denmark seriously lacked individual quality. Two of the subs played in a Championship team last season. They had starters from Udinese and Sampdoria. Their forward scored 3 goals in 40 matches in La Liga.
As a team, they are disciplined, they fought and ran well, tactics were fine. But it's hard to compensate top quality with discipline and running. Sometimes it works, tonight it didn't.
We lack a top quality striker. Else our team is decent imo.

They just don't have much depth in quality - a pretty decent starting 11 and nothing behind them. Once the starters got tired, they changed tactics to clog the midfield, close the game down and try to force PKs. After they fell behind, they just didn't have the players needed to turn it around.
Not sure if it went unnoticed. But Denmark played the last 15 minutes with 10 men, as the subbed in Mathias Jensen went out with an injury after having used the last sub.

England were stretched against pretty much the first half decent team they played ( No, Germany are very average ).

Italy on the other hand, beat one of the strongest ( Belgium ) and came out on top against very tricky Spanish that probably outplayed them for longer periods.

Based on that alone, and the run they’re having, Italy have to go in as favourites. The home crowd advantage will obviously work in favour of England, but i don’t see how England are a better team than Italy beyond that overall.

Plus Mancini is much better than Southgate tactically.

2-0 to Italy.

Cheating England will get a red card in their favor or a penalty in front of their home crowd on Sunday. And VAR is essentially not used in this tournament.
I never thought I'd say this but they use VAR far better in Serie A than I have seen in the CL and the Euros.

The guys in the studio seem willing to make decisions.

More than decent as a unit. But for a top achievement, Denmark needs a top-quality player or two in midfield and attack. Croatia, for example, was a worse unit than Denmark, but having Modric and Rakitic in midfield, and then Mandzukic in attack, was decisive. Denmark is missing such kind of players.

That makes it even worse. Tbh, I stopped watching after the PK - just knew the Danes didn't have the players to get back in it.

Eriksen would have been useful ((
True.

Seriously I'm just glad it's not Germany playing England in the final. As a Germanophile I wouldn't be able to handle another defeat to them in a final and also because of so many Bayern players playing for Germany it would've been even worse.

If I were a Juventus fan I would be close to nerve-racking facing England for these same reasons mentioned above.

Victory would be sweet like no other but defeat would be unbearable.
