How anyone can watch this Italy and not like them or appreciate the football they play?

Sure you may not like some of the players but the football they have played is great to watch, all energy, lots of pressing, a wingback playing as far forward as possible, midfielders getting in the box and a real team spirit.

Win or lose, Mancini has done a superb job.

Let’s see if the ref gives Italy any favours in the second half. I hope Chiesa gets knocked over by the wind and he points to the spot. Soft as butter penalty.

Game would have been over at 2-0 at HT IMO.
We just can't sit back now, dribble at their Defenders. They like to be static

Nothing personal, I just don’t like many of these Italian players, plus I still think of Italy as a backwards footballing nation despite of their recent success.
It doesn't nearly measure up to what we were used to 15 years ago.

Di Lorenzo, Immobile, Jorghinio definitely not even close. Apart from that, that midfield is pretty unbalanced . Did Locaetelli get suspended? Definitely needs a more physical presence.

Honestly really enjoy them. If they had a classy striker, they would be immense.
