Di Lorenzo pushed him a bit but fuck me, if that's a pen just because because guy is running full speed then might as well just play sprinters up front.
There is definitely contact but no way enough for a penalty. I think if that was all that happened and he fell over the ref wouldn't give it.

I think he has been confused by the guy kicking the ground and tripping himself up.

I absolutely bet my life that Insigne or Chiesa will blow past a Belgium defender and get a nudge and this ref has to call it or he can fuck himself.

Yet they go to VAR and look at it and decide it is still OK. That's just officials covering themselves.

Should never be giving them in such a game.

What the hell is it with refs now, I think the game just has become more and more soft, such pussies.. that was a very soft pen, earlier remo freuler got a very very soft red.. that pen is absolutely soft but lorenzo also stupid, doku wasnt going anywhere..

Yeah, slight contact in the penalty box happens every game, never seen a pk given this easy

@Post Ironic did you like Lorenzo’s goal?
It was brilliant. Can definitely say that. Makes up for his dogshit play the rest of the half. Gave up the ball cheaply multiple times, twice on the edge of Italy’s own area leading to Belgian chances. Needs to do the good stuff more consistently but that’s a start.

Nothing personal, I just don’t like many of these Italian players, plus I still think of Italy as a backwards footballing nation despite of their recent success.
Turning into a badass level poster. :lol2:
