So here we go.

Like in the past, I created this section to separate it from other topics. Use this thread for General talk about the upcoming Euro 2020.

I still write 2020, and 2021, because I believe it's still the official title despite year change due to Covid.

Matches will be played all around Europe as far as I know while the opening match will be in Rome.

That France team with Benzema is ridiculous.

I don't think any other team comes even close to them.
I think England has a great squad.

But I'd still predict France to win it.

Anyway, unlike throughout the season when I hate NT play, I'm looking forward to this competition. We should be having plenty of good matches ahead. After this disaster of a season it will be a good relaxation.

That's strong af. Portugal has to be one of the favourites, if not the favourite. I don't know if there's anybody better on the paper.

Ronaldo - Jota - Bernando Silva

    Carvalho -Fernandes - Danilo

Guerreiro - Ruben Dias - Pepe - Cancelo

    Patricio

Ruben Neves, Sergio Olivieira in the middlefield for options as well. Defense must be quite locked, even RB might change between Semedo/Pereira/Cancelo, but i think Cancelo has been great with City this year so he gets it. Attack is lethal. Joao Felix, Andre Silva and even Guedes on the bench are great options as well.

Fucking great squad. After Deco, Figo etc. it was a massive slump for years, now it's another "golden generation" for sure.

I really love Euro, this is the venue for youngstars to shine

I still remember the 1996, when Nedved, Berger and Poborsky steal the show with Czech
This is where Paratici should work and secure the starlet from this competition

Watch for France their team is full of talented players. Portugal too

i swear after the season we've had I almost couldn't give a fuck about the euros, just as long as England crash out in miserable fashion at least.

Funny you should mention the Czech, they stayed in a hotel not far from me which was also used by the English NT till they created St George's Park. A number of football teams stay at this place, always nice checking their gallery of signed shirts every so often.
