No, France are better. And Germany suits us better too. Apart from our talent we are also a very physical team and France match us there.
:shifty:

That French defense are there for the taking mate. They look really vulnerable at the back. The thing with France is their bench is deciding the tournament so far. They haven't played well in most games in this tournament.

Germany on the other hand look the most organized team in the tournament alongside Italy. I don't see Belgium beating them.

Their back four are weak. Or at least not world class. But everything in front of them looks very good. They've also been playing a very calm, determined football. Germany have faced no one significant yet and always had more of a thing with beating poorer teams with heavy figures.
their back 4 has zero quality

Have to say France has the best bench strength by far compared to any team in the tournament. The directness of Coman and Martial and the likes against tired legs is working for them brilliantly. They don't play all that well and suddenly their bench players come on and decide the game.
As long as they're not getting exposed badly in the first half, this is a good ploy to have.

Tactically, Germany has looked much more convincing than France though. France still hasn't found an ideal lineup. Hell, they haven't even played a good game yet. Germany, on the other hand, looks like a well-oiled machine. While I think Belgium would be outsmarted by Germany, a game against would France would probably be a lot more open.

I understand your point, but it's sort of a feeling I have. I just don't see France lose this. Both are better than us anyway, even if I think we have more talent than both.

Heh I have a hard time believing that Jogi would outsmart anyone but the german team would just outspirit and outexperience them :D

Which 'good' team has France faced? Germany played Poland and they're better than all the other teams France faced so far.

I actually think its the opposite. Germany have played calm ,collective football without taking too many risks. Get a feeling we're yet to see the best Germany in the tournament. That defense looks seriously good. If their big players start firing, they'll be winning this cup pretty comfortably.

You may think Löw is overrated, but he sure as hell is more convincing than Wilmots. :D

If you make it to the final, everything is possible. Still, I think you'll lose in the semi-final to Portugal. :D

but belgium faced one - lost 0:2 against one of the weakest italy teams i've seen in years.

Germany as a team would easily beat belgium, not sure about france, their defense really sucks. but we will see.

We lost, because Italy respected us and defended. Germany will come at us and give us space on the counter. For De Bruyne, Hazard and Carrasco that means fun times. Both Low and Wilmots are weak tactically and Low won't even see it coming.

I have to say one thing. Considering every game in the bracket of death(Spain /Italy /Germany /France) could be physically and mentally exhausting, could the teams in the other bracket have an increased chance to win the cup ? Gotta feeling fatigue could play a part in this tournament too.
