Be disappointed that your team didn't make an effort.
Look no one is proud that we lost 4-0 and no one should ever be no matter who they play but what this argument is about is the fans and the way the fans behaved during the game, up until the final minute and after and there is no doubt in my mind that the way they behaved is really something to be proud of. The way in which our fans in the stadium dealt with such a disappointing loss can only be admired, fans who travelled far and don't forget our country is in a serious economical crisis and these fans would of spent a fortune to be there so it cannot of been easy to watch that and still keep your head held high i thank them for how they handled it. I've been reading praise from people all over the world for our fans... you are the one and only person i have came across that has had something negative to say about it.

----

Sorry for going on and on about this guys im not one to argue so much on this forum but Seven really hit a nerve tonight.

France vs Ukraine

England vs Sweden

I have 2-1 and 1-0 or 0-0.

Btw, good shout about croatia, I was right about the Spanish though
@Gabriel

You only got the Spain game right 'cause the Irish decided to really bend over for the 4th ... the righteous result for that game was 3-0

Sweden - England - a scoring draw, 1-1 more likely than 2-2, or a slight win for the Swedes, contrary to the odds - 2-1 (over 1-0), me thinks.
Ukraine - France - both teams to score, a scoring draw 1-1 or a 1-2 (more likely than 1-3) win for France.

P.S. I am still waiting to see any of that action, though :p

I haven't won anything yet, the contest ends after the final and the one with most points from predictions wins.

I'm currently leading though, thanks to the last couple days :p

Prizes are only for the first 3.

No one admired their team, but their fans. It's not up to them where to set the bar. They are fans, and what they need to do as fans is to cheer for their team till the last second and this IS admirable. Compare them with Real fans. It's 50th minute and they are losing, the whole stadium is booing the team. This is what losers do. Irish fans barely make troubles, they are there to support their team. If they win the enjoy and celebrate, if not, they acknowledge the fact that they haven't been good enough. To be good enough is not their duty. Their duty is to support their team, weak or strong and that's why the majority praise them.
They don't. It's always some circumstance that they were unable to overcome.

Guys, should we, like, contact the authorities or something? I have a real fear that Seven might bomb the next San Marino match or kill any fan who doesnt cry for 6 hours and 37 minutes after a loss in the EURO?

Anybody has a number of the Belgian anti-terrorist unit?

Can't believe you guys actually debated with Seven for pages, with SEVEN?!! :sergio:

Do you guys not know that he is willing to say anything, and i mean anything to make him be the center of attention? He's always been like that, he doesnt have real opinions, he just tries to form "controversial" opinions.

What does he really know about Ireland for him to debate about them so fervently? Nothing. But everybody is commending Ireland's fans yesterday(they were truly admirable), so of course Seven will do the opposite.

No, the ref is considered a part of the playing field. It would have been unfortunate if the incident had a significant impact on the match, but there's no reason for play to have stopped.
That's awesome, you can slide tackle the ref and he can't stop the match? :D
