To be fair I think they simply missed too much. Should have been 3-0 at halftime. I can see Italy go out with four points and Croatia going through with.. well a remarkable draw .

this!!! and sorry i do understand emotions are high, the blame is not soley on prandelli that would be unfair imo, croatia fought for that goal while the auzzuri sat back and off course the refereeing was pathetic, specially the lines men. but croatia deserved to draw based on the second half. the italians should've kept the pace as they did in the first half. balo imo did'nt deserve to start the second half niether did cassano.

Deserved point for Croatia but God they are dirty.

Italy were robbed of two one on ones but the game should have never come to the point of being dependent on the ref and his linesmen to make sound decisions.

Italy can't finish on 4 points; either 2,3, or 5. I think they should beat Ireland and go through.

Hopefully, Barzagli will be back for the next game, and De Rossi can return to midfield. Giac should be on the bench, and one of Cassano or Balotelli shouldn't start.

First half was brilliant play, but they missed so many chances. That in itself is also a weakness.

I don't. But Italy were still heavily penalised. That was pretty much a certain goal, Alen. Not the first awful calls I've seen this tournament either. Srna could have been sent off as well. A ridiculous challenge on Motta, that hurt Italy as well, because Montolivo had to come on.

It's quite simple math for Italy really. If they win 3-0 vs Ireland, they go through if the Spain-Croatia match ends in a draw, at the expense of Croatia. Or they better Spain's score vs Ireland tonight to go through at the expense of Spain. If Spain-Croatia ends with a win for either side, Italy just need a win vs Ireland.
