well , i think that a draw would have been the right result . germany played bad , much different from the one in the world cup and to think they are almost the same players . That said i can't understand some of the choices of lowe , he plays podolski and he even has the number 10 shirt on his back , sweini doesn't seem on form , and every time i see boadstuber play , doesn't matter if it is with germany or with bayern it always seems to me like he will fuck up anytime .
Still althrough they lost portugal are in whole other tecnical level compared to germany , nani best of his side

Still think Hummels can/should play DM imo.Khedira as a CM is very average going forward so it makes sense playing Schwieni in the b2b role.

They also have the very talented CB Hoewedes on the bench too who can replace him.

What do you mean when you say DM? Cuz when i say DM i mean guys like Makelele, De Jong, Davids, who cares about their pass ability, the more important is how them defending, marking players, how good their tackles etc.

And Hummels is not good at all of those ?(Tackling,Marking etc) course he is..added advantage is he is very good on the ball.He can perfectly play the "destroyer" role.

Besides modern DM's require just more than that dirty work they do in the middle of the pitch..They are required to be good on the ball as well have some ability in your passing..Hummels is a complete player in that respect.

Look at Gargano for example..He's not just a destroyer for Napoli but also is a good long range passer as well and gets forward occasionally.
