The so called World Class defender Carles Puyol was owned teice today to second class Swedish forwards.

I don't want to hear him being compared to the likes of Cannavaro anymore.

TBH neither of the goals were Puyols fault. The first goal were the other centre backs mistake, Puyol was covering land. The second one he really did an admirable run after being sooo close to heading in the equalizer.

check it out

I don't think he screwed up on Allbäcks shot, I think Allbäck did good. It's the other guys fault, he stops up in his run since he thinks Allbäck will shoot.

Here is the first goal if anyone is interested.

Though I agree on the Hansson part, he was really something extra tonight.

Puyol needs to get lessons from Cannavaro. Spain lost me 250! lol. Then italy won 1460 which i then placed on them against Georgia

Puyol by and large has his moments. But overall, the guy has never ranked in my elites of European defenders.
