No doubt. That's history tho and not gonna help them in any way. Just as winning the world cup didn't help the azzurri in the slightest this year (seemed to be more of a burden at times).

Edit: The current german team has a good team mentality and a couple of good players, but I feel they lack the quality the '96 team had, wouldn't you agree?

Even though everything you said in this and in your previous post is true, my experience with West German (and now German football) taught me never to underestimate them, under any condition.
I know it's a cliché, but that's the truth. No matter how weak they seem, you can expect everything from the Germans.

You're right and I don't expect Germany to have a weak game in the final, but I don't consider them favorites as much as it has been suggested (mostly by the media), especially against Russia.
