Good Lord...

The second half of this match was 98% dreadful. When Argentina's coach earlier this week criticized the Euro as "the teams just play to qualify", this match almost precisely lived up to that. Spain just tooled around, toothless in attack and looked content for the draw. Sweden was content to defend and didn't even have "counterattack" in their vocabulary.

Meanwhile, the ESPN announces continued to jerk themselves off about Torres while ignoring David Villa even after his hattrick.

Thankfully this match is over.

Villa pwns. Who said he was overrated?
At least with the coverage here in the U.S., if you don't play in the EPL, you may as well be the groundskeeper.

Spain = Torres, Fabregas, and maybe a Real player here and there like Ramos and Casillas.

Villa who?

Xavi who?

Silva who?

Provincial laziness, really. And having announcers who handle the Champions League guilty of this makes it even less excusable.

Why did he have to hug Pepe Reina after his goal? Now people will continue with the dumb Villa to Pool theories.

Oh well, David Villa is the shit.

I like Villa I can not lie, He's really great guy, EPL lovers cannot deny. To pool I hope he doesn't fly, Turin is where he should try.

My money is on Spain choking in the quarters, and Holland owning everyteam till they reach the final..and get owned themselves by a less fancied team.Croatia perhaps.Assuming that they dont meet earlier ie.

I like Croatia's odds right now, IMO. They're a great, great darkhorse that can sneak in here.

If Spain plays Romania in the quarters i really can't see them choking.
But if it's France or Italy then i can't see them winning.

Holland and Spain can not meet Croatia before the final.

I see Croatia going far if they quit starting Ollic up top. Is Balaban on the squad?

My point exactly.Right now the spotlight is on Holland. No one is really taking Croatia seriously.I mean, even with Kranjcar and now Modric in the EPL..you expect something from people:shifty:

A happy Euro victory to you then..in advance.
