No, there was no freekick at all. Rosenberg just lost his balance at receiving the ball, his marker didn't move at all.

And it wasn't Hansson's fault, it was partly Mellberg's and partly a very fast attack and partly skill from Villa.
The two times I saw it, it looked like a freekick. I don't know what studies you've done on it.

Both defenders are fault in some way. Mellberg for letting him run up the side and Hansson for not blocking the last move before the shot.

ps: Villa's skill can't be someone elses fault.

Oh my. What a contest of who sucked less. Greece, who couldn't play offensive football when their lives depended upon it. Or Russia, who created great situations and summarily squandered every chance with regular idiocy and selfishness.

Thank God we won't have to witness Greece play any more than one match in this tournament. Russia is next at this rate.

I was really trying to like Russia. They had some nice play and counter-attacking ability. Good speed. But some of the decisions on the ball were downright bewildering, if not absolutely frustrating. With their physical abilities and some of the game smarts of a team like Italy, they should have won 4-0.

Yeah i know, and they should scored at least 1-2 more goals vs Spain.i hope Hiddink will work with them on that, but in overall i'm impressed by the work that has been done there,in 1-2 years, they bacame from pathetic,to agreat playing side.
Same can be said about the clubs improvement there, like Zenit...Uefa Champions.
