the funny thing is, when you look at the replay from the second goal, you see that di natale has to defend against sneijder .. where the fuck was matrix and barzagli in that situation that a striker is closer to our goal then them

True, but it's not like they didn't put themselves into a bad position by playing poorly in the first place. It could easily be 3 or 4 nil, so the Italians should be thankful they are still theoretically in the match.
They have played poorly,and they deserve to be 2-0.But then again,you never know.Had that goal not been scored,perhaps it would have been a different story,for better or for worse.Either way,Italy have been awful,and they deserve this.I wouldnt even say they're in the match any more.Had that Di Natale shot went in..then maybe.But right now Holland are home.Italy need something extremley special to get even a draw here,and they dont have any such thing.

they would have been up the field from the corner!

What a risk Donadoni is taking by putting in a more attacking wingback for a central defender while down 2 goals. :lol2:
