:rofl2: Cech best keeper in the WORLD! :rofl2:
You know, during some big tournament Buffon shows the world that he's the best by far.
Then in the following 2 years people who watch only EPL or La Liga start claiming how Buffon is not the best anymore but it's Cech or Casillas.
And then another big tournament comes and Buffon shows them again that he's head and sholders above everyone else.

    FORZA BUFFON

Here on TV4 they are still saying Cech is the best keeper in the world.
    I'm seriously asking this :
Anyone remembers if Buffon made a similar mistake ? When the goal is entirely his fault.
At the moment i really can't remember such an episode.

Cech is a great goalie. But if the guy played in La Liga or Serie A, he'd be just another among a long lineup of "good" goalies in their minds.

When you compare the medal cabinet of Cech and Buffon at club and international level, it's a joke even.

He dropped a cross much like Cech today, the attacker pounced and put it between his legs. Sally says Chievo, sounds about right.

He did something like that a couple of times, I recall. And SallyI is right -- one of them was against Chievo.

But both times they didn't make a difference in the match -- since Juve already had it in hand.

Unlike Cech's situation, where he was facing elimination in a major tournament.

that is true that gigi didn't make any blunders in important games but we didnt have it in our hands vs chievo. okay so it was the first game of the season but his blunder led to chievo's first goal and after that we were 2-0 down...

    ... and won 3-2.

and chievo was doomed to hell since until today :D

And to think that Turkey narrowly qualified for the Euro at the 11th hour. This kind of mental strength is dangerous :D
That's exactly why i wanted the Czechs, not the Turks. This is a fanatic team, they are so unpredictable. With the Czechs at least you know what to expect and even though the Turkish team posses less quality than the Czech they are much more dangerous.

They lost Emre and Tümer Metin due to injuries. Today one more player was injured while Mehmet Aurelio and Volkan Demirel will be suspended.
Still, they won't be any less dangerous.
